• Advised in conjunction with Allen & Overy, Barclays Bank Plc in respect of its US$185 million revolving credit facility to Ashanti Goldfields Company Ltd.

• Advised and represented Qualiplast Ltd in respect of a US$650,000 medium term facility from Equator Bank Ltd for the purchase of machinery for the Coca Cola Bottling Company of Ghana Ltd.

• Advised and represented together with O’Melveny & Myers of New York, the Government of the Republic of Ghana in its Telecommunications Reform Program in 1997 including the privatization of Ghana Telecom, the establishment of a second national telecom operator and the drafting of the national telecom Regulations.

• Advised and represented the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) in the provision of a US$54 million loan facility to Teberebie Goldfields Ltd;

• Advised and represented Societe International de Plantations d’Heveas (SIPH) and Societe de Development des Cultures Industrielles (SODECI) in their acquisition of a controlling interest in Ghana Rubber Estate Ltd under the privatization program of the Government of Ghana.

• Advised and represented Ranger Minerals NL and Abosso Goldfields Ltd concerning a US$80 million loan facility for the Damang Gold Project provided by a consortium of banks and financial institutions led by Barclays Bank Plc.

• Advised the Japan Export – Import Bank in 1996 regarding their provision of a US$80,750,000.00 loan facility to the Government of Ghana.

• Advised and represented Penang Shipbuilding and Construction of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in the acquisition of a controlling interest in the Tema Shipyard and Dry-dock Corporation under the Government of Ghana’s privatization program.

• Advised and represented Nordbanken AB of Stockholm, Sweden concerning its provision of a loan facility of SEK 56,307, 390.00 to the Ministry of Finance for purchase by the Ministry of Finance from Transelectric AB of Sweden.

• Advised Amansie Resources Ltd and the Resolute Group in respect of the Amansie Gold Project.

• Advised the African Development Bank concerning the provision of a US$20 million facility for the Ambassador Hotel Project in Accra.

• Providing draft legislation for the Bank of Ghana for electronic funds transfer negotiable instruments.  

• Advised PriceWaterhouseCoopers concerning its operations and practice in Ghana.

• Advised Guardian Royal Exchange Plc concerning the sale of its subsidiary in Ghana.

• Advised Scancem International and its subsidiary Ghacem Ltd on general corporate and specific litigation matters.

• Advised Africa Online Ghana Ltd and African Online Holdings on corporate matters in Ghana.

• Advised Total Ghana Limited and Elf Ghana Limited regarding their merger into TotalFinaElf Limited.

• Advising and representing the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority in corporate matters and joint ventures.
